Wanderlust, the UK's leading magazine for people with a passion for travel, was launched in 1993 by Paul Morrison and Lyn Hughes, who schemed the project on a flight to Ecuador.

Frustrated by the absence of a publication combining the right mix of wildlife, activities and cultural insight - not to mention inspirational writing and photography - the couple decided to produce a magazine packed with truly impartial information and fresh ideas.

Still proudly independent, the multi-award winning Wanderlust is the leading magazine for adventurous and authentic travel. The magazine has grown a lot since those humble beginning, with a circulation of 35,800 and over 86,000 print readers enjoying ten issues a year, and many more accessing it through digital newsstands. 

Distribution: Over 60% of Wanderlust readers are paying subscribers - loyalty is a factor of the Wanderlust readership. The print magazine is also available in WH Smiths; independent retailers including Stanfords and News on the Wharf; larger branches of Tesco and Sainsburys; a number of bookshops and gear shops. Digital editions are available from Readly; the App Store; Zinio; Exact Editions and others.
